Grandpa's Visit

Grandpa Chris came to see us a few weeks ago. We had so much fun. When I told Lex he was coming he stood in front of the door and danced for like a half hour because he was so excited! When Grandpa first got here Lex hugged him forever and then just wanted to sit and cuddle with him. We loved having him here to celebrate Lex's Birthday with us. We got Lex a football ice cream cake and it was fun to see Lex get so excited over his presents. He would open one and want to sit and play with it. He did not care about the others until it finally clicked for him that they could be filled with more fun things. Sadly we took video of his birthday and forgot to take pictures so if I can figure out how to make pictures from the video I will post them. Lex loved to play on the laptop with Grandpa. They would play this interactive Mickey game together. Des loves to sit up and was very content to sit up in Grandpa's legs and watch movies with us. Thanks for driving all those extra miles to come see us dad. We loved having you here and the boys adore you!
